Man and Horse. Motivator and Motivated. I'm finding it increasingly apparent just how important it is to embrace this duality. No, not the duality of me being part man part horse (I'm more full jackass), but the duality of being both the motivator and the motivated. I have recently engaged with motivational guru Tony Robbins' work and find one of his tenets in particular very useful; its the stories we tell ourselves about ourselves that can have the biggest influence on our outcomes, especially true when looking to find motivation to continue or stop a behaviour or pattern.
